Plaster is the LAST thing before we add water !
|
The plaster crew ( 7 in all ) made it look like a pool. |
Hand mixed on-site, the plaster is delivered
in wheel barrows and dumped in the pool hole. The guys THROW the wet plaster on with buckets and trowel it in / on the
the surfaces.
The guys wear tall, spikey shoes to keep them off the wet plaster
- then change to foam rubber "snow shoes" during the smoothing phases.
|
We chose white plaster so the color changing lights would show the best. |
|
This is the 'beach' area and steps. |
Ivan's Pool Plastering of Corona, California did our
plastering. We really liked their work and crew.
We'd recommend them to anyone.
|
The entire pool is hand troweled and smooth -- great job guys! |
4 hours and the plaster is complete !
Now add water immediately ...
This took 24 hrs and 17,000 gallons!
